On March 1 2024, the National Day of Remembrance of the Cursed Soldiers was celebrated.
The ceremony began with a solemn mass in the Garrison Church, followed by a solemn appeal at the 18th Mechanized Division “Lt.-Gen.Tadeusz Buk”.
At the end of the ceremony, a wreath was laid at the Monument on the grounds of War Cementery in Siedlce.
